Question:
Do my claims get sent directly to the insurance carriers?
Answer:
Once claims are processed they are sent to NEIC-Envoy, the nations
largest processor of medical information, and credit card transactions.
NEIC (National Electronic Information Corporation) and Envoy merged
in 1996 to become the largest processor of electronic information
in America.
Question:
How long does it take for claims to get approved?
Answer:
After claims are sent to NEIC-Envoy they are reviewed. If claims
are error-free they are approved and sent to the insurance carriers
immediately.
Question:
What if my claims are found to have any errors?
Answer:
If for any reason erros are found, the claims are directly sent
back to Conley Medical Billing where they are fixed and resubmitted.
Claims are then re-reviewed, approved and sent to their prospective
insurance carrier, all within a matter of minutes.
Question:
How is information tranferred from our office to Conley Medical
Billing?
Answer:
Most information is faxed back and forth between offices. However
U.S Mail can be used whenever needed. If you are local to us we
would be happy to make scheduled visits to your office at your
convenience.
Question:
How are services charged?
Answer:
Because each practice is different, services are charged differently.
Usually services are charges on a per-claim basis,by percentage
rate or a simple monthly flat rate, which ever is most economically
best suited to your needs.
Question:
Where do the payments get sent to?
Answer:
Payments are sent directly to your office. Once you get it, simply
fax or send us copy of the explanation of Benefits in order for
us to keep your records up-to-date.
